On 11th Dec 2024, Child Support Foundation extended its support to the students of IDL Blind School, Bangalore, by distributing 4 wheelchairs and 25 sensory boxes. This initiative aimed to enhance mobility and sensory learning opportunities for the visually impaired, contributing to their overall development and independence.The wheelchairs were provided to assist students with mobility challenges, ensuring they can move around comfortably and participate actively in school activities. Meanwhile, the sensory boxes were designed to stimulate tactile, auditory, and olfactory senses, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning experience.
The distribution event included a demonstration of the sensory boxes, which contain items such as textured objects, sound-making tools, and aromatic materials.
